Rêve Atelier AW'14 Collection: The Renaissance

If last season was all about simplicity and clean looks with simple tops and dresses, this season, we emphasise more on feminine meets comfort looks.

This time, our designs provide even more flexibility to our customers. From colour selection down to your style choice. Take Anne Skirt for example,  the application of the zipper on the side makes it appropriate for any occasion. Be it for work or date night. The zip is almost very invincible, you can barely notice it in the picture which makes you feel like you own 2 or 3 skirts with same pattern. ain't that great?!

Another example is our similar yet different in every way: Marie Peplum (shown above) and Emily Crop Top (shown below). The material and look could be very similar but it definitely accommodates different taste and occasion. While Emily is meant for a more casual affair, our Marie Peplum was born out of loves for formal dinner.

We explore a more colourful palette in this collection as well, with main colours of choice are blue, fuchsia, white and black. Most of our collections this season comes with at least 2 different options, apart from the beautiful Luisa Short (shown below) and Anne Skirt (shown above)

Flowers n Kisses

In general, I prefer a full-on style with massive skirt and crazy other things. I wrote about how N and I have different takes on style and hence, our designs are a perfect duet of two different takes on our tastes. Yesterday, however, I felt like I wanted something more casual and simple to spend the weekends since I have massive agenda that involves a lot of walks.

I found a gem in my wardrobe, my floral pants from Nasty Gal that I haven't worn from the first day it was purchased.

Here are some photos of the look I pulled yesterday.

Rêvetorial: Mesh Skirt Style Alert

I am not sure if you are all aware of the mesh skirt craze in the fashion world right now. Almost every label ready-to-wear carries them now and we picked up on that trend too. Our upcoming collection incorporates lots of mesh detail to our clothings. But today I'm not writing on our second collection just yet.

Today, I'm writing about the mesh skirt that I have had for almost a year: Maxi Mesh Skirt. When i saw it, I knew I had to have it but it was really long and I haven't really had any occasion to wear it until recently. My trip to Bintan Island saw my inner creativity took place. I made a bodycon Mesh Skirt with Fish Tail with my old maxi mesh. Here is the result:

Rêve Atelier Defined

Do you know...

why famous fashion designers are easily distinguished jusy by looking at their designs? That's basically called individuality. A term that defines a quality of a character/person that distinguish them from the rest

Some big brands that we truly adore for their individuality and uniqueness include Zuhair Murad, Krikor Jabotian, Elie Saab, and Rami Kadi. On ready-to-wear arena, We are both a really huge fan of Sass n Bide and Alice McCall.

So, where Rêve Atelier fits in all this?!
Rêve Atelier might be new to the market but we were sure from the start of our style, design and taste.

Most of you might already be able to fill the style from our first collection and we definitely try to show it a lot more in the upcoming collections. Our next collections will explore a lot more of the unique blend between our founders, M and N.

Rêve Atelier designs combine the taste of our creative directors and translate it into Rêve Ateliers' own style emphasizing more on practicality, comfort, and unique cuttings while keeping up with the current trends.

We also pay a lot of attention to our fabrics and tailoring as we always ensure only the best quality delivered to our customers.

Joyeux Anniversaire, Mademoiselle N

26 and Successful

Today is one of the most important day in our calendar. Our creative director and founder, Nit C (lookbook.nu/nitchandra) celebrates her 26th birthday and I am extremely excited to see her reveal more of her creativity and designs in the years to come.

I want to take this opportunity to share about this amazing woman and the brain behind Rêve Atelier.

At the tender age of 26, Nita has an impressive resume, including a work experience in one of the biggest fashion house in Indonesia, MAP and a Master degree in Fashion from an esteemed college in Paris.

Nita is also a very talented photographer, most of her works are rarely displayed to public but I managed to snatch some of her best works over the years.

Do enjoy and joyeux anniversaire à Noveuau, Mademoiselle N

Join me in wishing her a very happy birthday

Much Love,
